Lance and Who?!

obra4 | October 31, 2007

Looks like Lance is just moving right along through the women This time he’s been spotted smooching a twin. But not just any twin, yep you guesed it Ashley Olsen of the Olsen twins. Kinda of odd if you ask me. Lance is not much older then myself and I can remember the Olsen’s when they were in diaper’s and couldn’t talk on Full House. Anyways here some links to the gossip:

Nice Sunday Ride @ Hornings Hideout

obra4 | October 17, 2007

So I went to Hornings Hideout this past Sunday for what I thought would be a good ole fashion cyclocross race. Wouldn’t ya know it? Once again I sat in line at the start with 250 of my fellow C riders. The first three laps of the race felt like I was sitting in rush hour traffic on Hwy 26. I know, I know I need to be in front to get out of the traffic jam at the beginning. Sure thats what my initial plan was to do, but I was there 30 minutes prior to the start. And, of course, everyone of those darn C riders were already there. They beat me to the punch. So next week I’m taking my trainer down to the starting line and placing it right on the front line, just warm-up there. I’m sure I could rig a contraption to release my rear wheel so I can I take off like a bat out of hell.

After a crash, being run over by two crossers and having to readjust my bike it was overall a nice ride. Loved the hills, but can’t wait for some mud! Yes!

Maybe next week we’ll have a fewer C’s since CrossCrusade will be initiating a Clydesdale class (200+ lbs.) So in an effort to assist my fellow crossers I’ve been looking through the online photos. Trying to locate those riders I’m sure should fall into that category. And I’m positive K-man’s Miffy or Kiffy (They both look alike to me) definitely falls into 200+ category.

Cyclocross Soup - Good for the Soul!

obra4 | October 7, 2007

Well since today was the third cyclocross race of the season I figure I might as well start blogging. First race of the season Hood River was a nice dry and fast course. My start was not the best, I guess there was some confusion when I asked a few fellow riders if this was the C’s. Guess the balding head and gray hair gave them the excuse to place me in their group. Anyways they did say they were C’s just didn’t distinguish between Men or Master’s. So the initial start saw my Men C group take off and slowly fade away. Read the rest of this entry »
