Looks like Trek has found a home for their new bikes. With the disbanded Discovery team off their list they needed to get a team using their bikes. So it looks like Johan Bruyneel has cloned the now defunct Discovery Channel team, and has setup the team using the same bikes as well.
Trek’s presence in the pro peloton was put into doubt when Tailwind Sports, the parent company for the Discovery Channel Pro Cycling Team—the team Trek has sponsored for the last ten years—announced that it would disband the team after the 2007 season. Looks like that’s no longer the case and to add to the “Bling” factor they get a nice touch of SRAM Red.

Well its one more year down and a move to the “Master 35+” race group for me. Just to clarify, my race age is 35, I’m 34! And in the spirit of getting older, what am I going to do tonight. Yep! Work me bum off. I can hear the coach now (fade to black…)
