Velochallenge

Happy Gobble Day! Don’t eat too much of those pumpkin and peacan pies. Wait if your a Cat B please do, eat as much as you can stuff down your throat. That way I have a chance of a decent placing at the USGP in Portland next week.

I’m down in San Francisco, visiting family and will hopefully be going out for a nice ride tomorrow. Did a little research to map out a ride and of course bike shops. And I think I hit a mother load, found American Cyclery which not only has one shop but two and their right across from each other. Looks like the are dedicated to the fixie/trackoholic. I simply can not wait to go there. Hmmm….fixie!

OK, I think I’ve lost my “Mojo.” Its been awhile since I’ve really felt in the racing mood since being back from my trip to Paris. In all I’ve been in around three races: PIR race (too hot), Track Race (too tired) and finally Short Track (no motivation.) Sounds like goldilocks and the three freakin bears! Where’s that race where its just right?! Let me go ahead and get the excuses all out in the open an over with:

Excuse List:

• Too Tired
• Just didn’t feel like it
• Back hurt
• It was too hot (hey it was 105!)
• I’m sick

Ok that’s out the way, I just need to stop whining and get off my A.S.S. and ride the bike. I think I need a visit from Matt Foley the motivational speaker from SNL. I know if I don’t start riding and getting my head back into the game I’m going to be living in a VAN down by the RIVER!
